Event Tech Live (ETL15)

Event Tech Live is Europe’s only show dedicated to event technology

Event Tech Live (ETL15)  was held on 11th November in London .

Most of the featured speakers were experienced people from the IT industry. Moreover, there were also startups and Venture Capital firms .

The main goal of ETL15 was to present innovative ways technology can improve all kinds of events. One of the speakers pointed out:

“Our mandate is not to bring tech to events but to make events better”

Yesterday we were one of the startups which participated at the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Summit  in Barcelona. The event is hosted by several cities around the world and it gathers entrepreneurs and startups which use the AWS for their projects or which are planning to use in the foreseeable future.

Amazon Web Services is a cloud platform which provides several services such as database storage and compute power. It’s currently used by a wide range of firms, from large companies like Nike to startups like Airbnb.

Big Data Spain (BDS15)


From 15-16 October Madrid hosted the 4th edition of the Big Data Spain.

It was a set of conferences that gathered more than 600 Big Data professionals in about 40 conferences. The featured speakers were senior developers from companies like Facebook, Linkedin, SAP , HP or IBM  that covered Hadoop, Spark and NoSQL technologies.

Internet of Things World Europe (IOTWE15)


From 5-7 October Berlin hosted the Internet of Things World Europe , an event where leaders of the industrial and consumer IoT industry shared their forecasts about IoT.

The featured keynotes covered several topics such as smart cities, smart homes, healthcare and wearable or IoT and agriculture and large companies from different industries discussed about IoT applications. For instance David Holecek, from Volvo, talked about monetising the connected car.

From 7th to 9th of October Madrid hosted the South Summit, an event that gathered the most innovative startups from Europe and LATAM.

One of the most interesting activity was The Next Big Thing . It was a pitching round were participated 100 startups selected from among 1,800 participants.

The startups had to impress the attendees during a 3-minutes pitch in order to access to the final pitching round.
